Festival without border
...The Berlin Film Festival and European Film Market will hold in-person cinema screenings for international distributors in Australia, Japan, Brazil, and Mexico for titles from its 2021 selection, which will stream online in March. Berlin is cooperating with local cinemas and regional partners — including the Melbourne, Tokyo, and Sao Paulo international film festivals and the Mexican Institute of Cinematography — who will provide infrastructure and support. The festival will unveil its official 2021 line-up next week....

PBS announced an open call for submissions for long and short form films by content creators. According to the network: “This initiative will further amplify the voices of diverse/Bipoc producers across public media, inviting submissions that explore a broad range of experiences, perspectives and points of view.” The network will be launching a call on March 1st for the “next generation of filmmakers.
