TDirector, Robert Eggers, has revealed that he wants Willem Dafoe in the cast of his long-awaited Nosferatu remake. The two began a working relationship with The Lighthouse, which debuted in 2019. Their latest collaboration, The Northman, debuts in theaters on April 22. The original Nosferatu was directed by F.W. Murnau and debuted in cinemas in 1922. A loose adaptation of the iconic Dracula story, the film follows a vampire named Count Orlock (Max Schreck), who descends upon a town to bring terror to an unsuspecting real estate agent (Gustav von Wangenheim) and his wife (Greta Schröder). Nosferatu is considered a quintessential piece of German Expressionism and one of the original films that helped to form the DNA of the horror genre as fans know it today...
