Movie crumbs...
Fans of Rob Zombie’s recently released The Munsters can soon take home their own Herman, Lily, and Grandpa Munster courtesy of NECA. The masters of all things toys are bringing fans of the series-turned-film 7 inch tall figurines, and to sweeten the deal, they’re even adding a version of Zombo to the collection. As colorful as they come, each figure is a wonderfully vibrant rendition of the film’s main characters, with Lily stunning in a purple dress, Herman’s eye-popping green skin as bright as ever, and Grandpa aka The Count’s pale blue flesh brought out by his iconic suit complete with its adornments. Famous for his rock n’ roll persona, Herman comes with a record accessory, while Grandpa holds his shovel and Zombo tantalizes taste buds everywhere with a box of his Crumble Creature Crackers...

Neil DeGrasse Tyson turned his sights on the biggest movie of the year Top Gun: Maverick, and he’s getting help from Elon Musk.The particular issue that Tyson has decided to tweet about is the scene at the beginning of the movie, where Tom Cruise’s Maverick is test piloting a supersonic jet. In the end the plane breaks apart and Maverick has to eject. However, according to Tyson, Maverick would never have survived the ejection.Maverick has exceeded the speed of sound by a factor of 10, and it’s not hard to believe that an unprotected human body is going to have trouble moving at that speed, and then stopping suddenly, which is essentially what happens when Maverick pulls the ejection handle. Even jets themselves can have trouble with those speeds, which is something Tyson explains in a follow-up tweet. Elon Musk had a similar feeling, as he replied to one of Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s tweet’s to suggest a different mechanism should have been used for ejection, as it might have meant actual survival...
