Danny McBride has a bone to pick with movie theaters. With the popularization of theaters that now serve dinner and drinks in the middle of a movie. “I hate it, I can’t stand it,” McBride said while addressing the theaters-that-serves-dinner trend. “I also don’t think it makes sense to combine booze with movies. Doesn’t alcohol make you want to get up and get loose? You don’t want to sit there, drink beer, and just be quiet. A better idea, according to McBride, would-be movie theaters that offer marijuana and allow patrons to smoke pot. Movies and weed “go together perfectly,” he said...

Jeremy Allen White is in talks to play Bruce Springsteen in an upcoming biopic. White is best known for playing the lead character in the Hulu series The Bear. The actor has been nominated for multiple awards for this role, winning an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The movie will be an adaptation of the 2023 Warren Zanes book Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska. Like the proposed plot of the movie, the book follows Springsteen on his journey to make his sixth studio album. Unlike earlier work on songs like “Born to Run,” Nebraska includes a darker and stripped-down collection of songs. The album includes the singles "Atlantic City" and "Open All Night."...
