MISSION  STATEMENT                           

    The Mission Board, on behalf of the congregation of the United Church of Los Alamos, prayerfully and financially supports entities that aid God’s people in accordance with the ministry of Jesus Christ, as we understand that ministry.

   Aware of the responsibility of stewardship in making these choices, the Mission Board considers a variety of entities that are of interest and concern to the membership of United Church and endeavors to accomplish its support by selecting and regularly reviewing those entities on an individual basis, whether Christian or secular.  The board selects individuals and organizations that provide aid to the peoples of the world through education, field work, and outreach.
