Automobile accidents are
the leading cause of death in Zacatecas for
people ages 5-25 and a major health problem.
The project "Take Care of Life" has
the goal to reduce motor vehicle accidents
and mortality and prevent alcohol use among
adolescent drivers. We are sure that road
injuries can be prevented and many lives
can be saved by implementing simple actions
regarding alcohol, and other related problems
such as speeding, seat belt use,helmets (on
two wheel vehicles),Cell Phones, driver fatigue,
rules enforcement and education. |

in Chihuahua Mexico has a need for transportation
(one or two school buses) for the 40+ Children
living at the orphanage. The buses are used
to deliver the children to school and take
them on field trips. |

There are over 7,000 cases
of Children's Cancer in Mexico every year
and approximately 4,000 of them go to the
Children against Cancer Association in Aguacalientes
(AMANC), because this organization accepts
children without insurance, public or private
This grant would equip the Association with
a safety biological cabinet that protects
the volunteers that distribute the medicines
for children undergoing radiation, and a
refrigerator to store the medicine. |
