The Project "Medication
Bank for Apanical" consists in a supply
of medication for the treatment of children's
cancer and/or leukemia through chemotherapy.
APANICAL (Association of Parents of Children
with cancer and leukemia of Juarez) provides
free medication and treatment to 55 children
who are the primary beneficiaries. Medications
for these treatments is very expensive for
most parents to buy due to the lack of them
in their healthcare providers' supply, which
makes them secondary beneficiaries. These
medications are of regular and frequent use
in these treatements and will cover these
children's therapies for an estimated time
of two months. |

St. Luke's is a non-profit
providing free basic health care to indigent,
homeless, and others without insurance. They
were established in 1991 and serve 1500 people
annually. They have used all of their resources
for medical care and are in dire need of
refurnishing the medical offices and patient
care areas. This project will provide needed
furnishings and waiting room equipment. |
